Since the foundation of FUJIMOTO CHEMICALS CO.,LTD in 1953, we have developed our business of production and sales of APIs and intermediates, and have played a role in maintaining and improving the health of people, based on our corporate philosophy, “we are a global company which contributes to people’s quality of life with expertise in fine chemicals”. The current business environment of pharmaceutical industry is changing both in Japan and overseas, thus we are also required to undergo severe changes to meet the demands of the times. In order to remain a socially-relevant company, we will establish and continue safe and stable operations. On top of that, we will strengthen our compliance system.

Furthermore, we establish the ESG Promotion Department in 2020 to further promote our environmental activities, social activities and corporate governance. By identifying the critical issues and reflecting them in our management plans, we believe that we can achieve sustainable development together with society.

We will continue to achieve sustainable development of business through new value creation based on fine chemicals and contribute to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
