Product Introduction
Sodium acetylated hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like polymer substance and it presents in the dermis of the skin as a biological component in a large amount. Its capability of retaining a large amount of water gives elasticity and flexibility to the skin and affects the skin’s moisture.
"Acetylated sodium hyaluronate" has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties by replacing some of the hydroxyl groups of sodium hyaluronate with acetyl groups. The water retention is about twice that of hyaluronic acid, and it also increases adsorption to the skin.
In our company, acetylated sodium hyaluronate is manufactured and quality-controlled to the pharmaceutical standards to provide high quality products.
High moisturizing effect
Measurement of the amount of bound water in the stratum corneum among “untreated”, “sodium hyaluronate-treated”, and “acetylated sodium hyaluronate-treated” groups, shows the acetylated sodium hyaluronate-treated group has twice as much bound water as the sodium hyaluronate treated-group.
High stratum corneum softening effect
Acetylated sodium hyaluronate has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties. Therefore, it has excellent adsorption to the skin and is effectively retained on the keratinous surface. As a result, more water evaporating from the inside of the stratum corneum is captured on the surface, and the excellent stratum corneum softening effect is maintained for a long time.
